Attention Eastlake Little League Families: Important League Eligibility Rule Update!

Exciting news for our Eastlake community! Little League has updated its Eligibility Rule that allows even more young players to experience the thrill of Eastlake Little League baseball and softball.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Expanded Eligibility: Children little league aged 4-7 can now choose to play in any league that suits their needs —even if they live outside the traditional Eastlake Little League boundaries!
  • Family-Friendly Flexibility: In an effort to assist families who may have multiple players, the older sibling(s) of a child league age 4-7 that elects to participate in a league by choice are eligible to follow the younger sibling while having full participation eligibility.

Players League Age 8-16 as of the 2025 season (born on or before September 1, 2017, for Baseball or January 1, 2017, for Softball) will continue to utilize the current boundary requirement based on residency or school enrollment.

We’re thrilled to make Eastlake Little League accessible to more families and build a stronger community. Check out the full details on Little League’s official page here or contact us today to learn more about the boundary rule and sign up for the upcoming season. Let’s play ball!
