AAA Baseball

AAA BASEBALL
Ages 9-10

  • If your player is NOT 9 years old by August 31, 2025, they are required to register for AA-Ball; even if they have already played AA-Ball. Your player may participate in the player evaluations, but 8 year olds will only be drafted to a AAA team if there is room on a team.

This is considered the first year of minors competitive baseball. Players will expand on the skills taught at AA. This is the first year that kids pitch in a game. Standings are kept and there is a tournament at the end of the year.

  • AGE: Players must be 9 years old by August 31, 2025 to participate. 8-year olds who played AA last year are welcome to try out for AAA, but there will be a limited number of slots allocated for 8-year olds based on registrations. Interested 8-year olds must still initially register for AA baseball, and notify the baseball Player Agent ([email protected]) of their desire, and will need to attend the AAA player evaluations. Those 8-year olds who are actually drafted onto a AAA team will have their registration transferred from AA to Competitive Baseball by the Registration Officer, and the player will be responsible for an additional payment in order for the total paid to equal the registration registration fee for the Competitive level.
  • TEAMS: AAA teams are made up of 12 players. Teams are created by a skills evaluation and draft process in early February.
  • PRACTICES & GAMES: Players will usually have three (3) “events” per week; three practices until season begins, then two games (1 weekday and 1 weekend) and one practice each week. Practices typically last 2 hours and games are 3 hours; including warm-ups. Games are 6 innings in length with three outs per inning. Practices start in early March and games are played through June.
  • VOLUNTEERS: Parent participation is necessary on many levels from Coaching, Umpiring, Field Preparation, Score Keeping, Team Parent, etc.
  • FEE: $345
